'Three Feathers' weighty silver and chrysocholla/druzy statement necklace with extender chain OOAK

This stunning silver feather necklace is another truly eye-catching statement necklace and a one-of-a-kind piece. Constructed from thick sterling silver, it's a really substantial piece weighing over 48 grams The Navajo-inspired bezel is entirely handmade from thick silver, as is the thick wire twist. The three handmade feathers are constructed from individual layers of sterling silver hand pierced and then soldered together. The freeform chrysocolla gemstone is absolutely stunning with dark greens, browns and reds with small pockets of druzy - it's like looking down onto a little world. The weighty sterling silver chain is detailed with handmade rings and hooks and can be extended from 18" to 24" by removing or attaching the extra length of chain, which is also fitted with one of my handmade hooks. On the reverse of the pendant soars a secret raven. The silver has been oxidised and then highlighted to contrast the details. I then use a microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will lighten with wear. This is a really weighty, substantial piece and comes gift boxed - perfect for giving.
