Silver Seahorse with Larimar and Blue SapphireSOLDThis stunning seahorse has been constructed from two layers of sterling silver - each meticulously hand-cut and soldered. He is set with a beautiful sea-blue, one-of-a-kind, freeform Larimar and has a beautiful blue sapphire eye. I have shaped the bezel holding the Larimar to suggest an undulating wave motion, echoing the underwater theme.
His chain is also handmade with irregular Larimar beads meticulously handwrapped with sterling silver wire and interspersed with sterling silver beads. I have shaped the handmade links to suggest the movement of waves and the chain is finished with a large handmade sterling silver hook. The seahorse has been oxidised and then highlighted to a high shine. The silver has then been waxed with a microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear. Comes gift boxed. As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is handmade and soldered closed to prevent any piece of the pendant coming apart or getting lost. This piece carries a full set of UK hallmarks and my maker's mark as issued by Goldsmiths of London - this is your guarantee of quality and silver purity.
