Silver Seahorse and Starfish Pendant with Tourmaline
£79This sweet solid silver seahorse and starfish pendant is entirely handmade by me in my Oxfordshire studio.
I have given the whole necklace an under-the-sea feel ... from the undulating, wave-like surface of the hand cut seahorse and starfish, to the seaweed-inspired chain which I have created from silver-wire-wrapped hand-faceted tourmaline beads. The silver has been oxidised, highlighted and sealed with a microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface and the chain is finished with a handmade sterling silver clasp. As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is soldered closed to prevent any piece of the pendant coming apart or getting lost.
