This necklace is entirely handmade - from the stone setting to each and every link of the chain - and is a really substantial piece containing over an ounce and a half of sterling silver. The stunning freeform turquoise is set in a unique silver setting decorated with individually soldered silver details. The feather which hangs beneath is a substantial piece in itself and is hand cut from two layers of sterling silver. All links are handmade and then soldered closed to prevent any piece coming apart. The handmade chain is finished with a large handmade sterling silver hook. The silver has been oxidised and then highlighted to contrast the details. I then wax it with a microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear. This piece comes gift boxed. This is a real statement piece which the photos don't really do justice to. This piece carries a full set of UK hallmarks and my maker's mark as issued by Goldsmiths of London - this is your guarantee of quality and silver purity.
