Large Silver and Opal Leaping Hare Pendant

A celestial hare leaping amongst the stars....this magical hare is entirely handmade by me - no casting or mass production is involved in her creation and great care and detail is put into each hare. 
She is decorated with triple moons, hearts and stars and from her toes dangle a hand-cut silver moon and star.
She is constructed from thick sterling silver and set with genuine opal gemstones. 
Her chain has been set with silver beads, meticulously wire-wrapped by hand and is finished with a handmade silver clasp. 
The silver has been oxidised, brushed and sealed with a  microcrystalline wax to emphasise the design and help protect the oxidisation.

As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is soldered closed to prevent any piece of the pendant coming apart or getting lost.
