A truly eye-catching statement piece and a one-of-a-kind...
This necklace is entirely handmade - from the stone setting to each and every link of the chain - and is a really substantial piece weighing over 45 grams
The stunning freeform azurite/chrysocolla is set in an entirely handmade Navajo-inspired silver setting created from thick sterling silver. On the reverse of the setting is a pierced soaring raven detail.
The feather which hangs beneath is a substantial piece in itself and is hand cut from really thick sterling silver. 
The chain is also entirely handmade with all links hand formed and then each and every one soldered closed to give ensure the integrity of the chain. Two soaring ravens are set 
The chain is detailed with two hand cut soaring ravens and finished with a handmade sterling silver hooks. I have also made an extender length which means the necklace can be worn at either 18" or 24". 
The silver has been oxidised and then highlighted to contrast the details. I then use a microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will lighten with wear.
