Silver Elephant with Amethyst, Garnet and Green OnyxSOLDA unique silver elephant pendant with an Indian-inspired decoration. Entirely handmade by me, no casting or mass production is involved in his creation. Constructed from thick sterling silver, he is set with a beautiful purple amethyst, two green onyx gemstones and has a small garnet eye. He hangs from a deep red garnet heart set in a silver bezel. The long chain is entirely handmade from silver, amethyst, garnet and green onyx beads, each individually and meticulously hand wrapped with sterling silver wire. It is finished with a handmade clasp. The silver has been oxidised, highlighted and waxed with a microcrystalline wax. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can continue to lighten with wear. As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is soldered closed to prevent any piece of the pendant coming apart or getting lost.
