A stunning hydrogrossular garnet statement ring, hand forged from sterling silver.
This substantial ring is a one-of-a-kind and entirely handmade by me in my Oxfordshire studio.
The design centres around a beautiful large hydrogrossular garnet gemstone which is a beautiful opaque gooseberry-green colour.
Hydrogrossular garnet is a rare, green grossular garnet which is dense and opaque, and resembles the colour of jade. 
Each solid silver ball has been individually made by hand and soldered in place.
The silver has been oxidised, brushed and then finished with a layer of protective microcrystalline wax. 
Oxidisation is a surface treatment which can continue to lighten with wear. 
This is a substantial, weighty ring and a real statement piece.
